Ecolofty is one of Western Canada’s leading blown in cellulose insulation installers for both residential and new construction markets. We are always looking for hardworking Ecolofty Team Members who are excellence-driven, team-oriented, inspired to provided the best in terms of green insulation solutions, and generally just interested in and excited to learn the insulation trade. 

The ideal candidates will have previous experience weatherization and insulation work and/or residential construction experience, with hands-on weatherization work, including air sealing and blown-in cellulose applications. If you have construction or labor experience, we provide on-the-job training.

Requirements

Ecolofty Team Member candidates must be able to:

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.

• Work in tight places or in high places from ladders or scaffolding.

• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Climb ladders and scaffolding with ease.

• Bend, twist and turn body at shoulders, waist and knees to handle and install insulation.

• Stand for extended periods of time.

Candidates must pass extensive pre-employment national criminal background check and drug screening.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with at least three (3) years clean driving record.

The Ecolofty Team Member is expected to participate in all required training sessions and company meetings, and to assist with planning and other tasks as assigned.

This position may require leaving early each morning in your own truck or a company truck from our office/warehouse, performing both interior and exterior work in all types of weather at residences, and unloading the truck at the end of the day.

Pay Structure

We appreciate good work and following this we PAY WELL. Our hourly rate is commensurate with experience, flexibility and abilities. There are many opportunities for overtime as well as growth within this exciting energy efficiency-building arena.
